Yes, we only use insulated sandwich panels door sections in both EPS and Polyurethane foam for maximum insulation.

The manufacturer has a limited lifetime guarantee on the door itself. We guarantee the construction and adhesion of the trim boards for 3 years.

  15. Can you get impact rated and wind loaded doors?
Yes. Garage door manufacturers we use can provide windload rated doors that meet Miami Dade W9 150MPH (+54 PSF/+81 PSF) and International Building Code or Florida Building Code (ASCE7–W7/W8) windload ratings.

16. How do your doors compare to competing garage doors that offer a similar product?
We were the first to develop the technology. We offer more custom door models, wood species, and color choices than other competing faux wood garage doors. Our doors are very competitive due to our low overhead costs. Go ahead. Shop around. Compare our doors to other's–models, colors, samples, price –and then call us.

A note about faux wood claddings sold as retrofit Do-it-Yourself products or kits
We install our faux wood cladding material on new garage door panels. Existing door panels have existing problems due to sun exposure and the elements. Applying any type of laminate on an existing door is wrought with problems which will be manifested sooner or later.

Some of the problems are associated with the types of adhesion, or fastening on a less than desired surface that may include raised panel which makes for questionable adhesion, added weight, void manufacturer warranty and invites water intrusion/corrosion over time. We do not use mechanical fasteners.

Other problems are due to improper springing which is ABSOLUTELY required. Correct weights must be used, as an improperly sprung door will cause failure that could be catastrophic. Setting the door track is also a concern as an improperly balanced door will cause motor failure and create a dangerous situation. We prepare our doors according the IDA (International Door Association) guidelines. We provide new doors, track and springs that are properly set from the factory.

  17. Do you install the doors?
No we do not. Contact your local garage door company listed in the yellow pages and tell them what you have and they should be able to install the doors for you. We will also work with the local installer you selected should they have any technical questions.

  18. How are the doors shipped and where do you ship to?
All our doors are properly secured and packed in heavy duty wooden crates to prevent damage. We ship nationwide in the United States and Canada. We can also ship the doors to the local garage door company you selected to install the garage doors.
